QUESTION:  My question for you...My mother (84 yrs old) is on 10 mg. of Aricept (once daily) and my dad asked me if she could take this stuff call Zeel.  It's homeopathic mediation which she says helps her with her pain more than anything else her doctor prescribed.  The question is ... will this have any effect or side effects if she takes while taking the Aricept?   Here's the website with the list of ingredients:  http://www.iherb.com/Heel-BHI-Zeel-100-Tablets/4515?at=0 

ANSWER:  I am doubtful the homeopathic would affect the Aricept, I have used Zeel for many years and it has been helpful and very safe to use with meds, in most cases. Of course watch closely, start out slow, everyone is different.
