North Carolina Herb Association ... NCHA membership is open to anyone interested in herbs, whether as a commercial grower or as a hobbyist.  NCHA works with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture to present herb  festivals at the state's farmers' markets.  We have two meetings a year with great herbal speakers and hands-on workshops. The Winter Conference is at a different location each season to allow members a chance to visit all parts of the state of North Carolina.  The Wild Herb Weekend is held the last weekend of July each year at the Valle Crucis Conference in scenic Valle Crucis, North Carolina, and has been called "summer camp for grown-ups".  NCHA also produces a quarterly newsletter.  Yearly membership is $25.00 for individuals or families,  and $35.00 for businesses or organizations.
