herbs@pcisys.net
... Founded in 1986, and operating thru membership, the Pikes Peak Herb
Association is an educational organization dedicating its efforts to expanding the public's awareness about herbs by providing lectures,
workshops, and study groups increasing the use of herbs and herbal products for medicinal home remedies, culinary, craft, and
horticulture. This exposure is directed to both the lay person as well
as the professional. Herbal knowledge has been passed down through the centuries and their
usage in the service of mankind has been recorded throughout history. The present herbal renaissance is devoted to restoring this lost
heritage, and the Pikes Peak Herb Association is dedicated to reclaiming
and promoting this usage to common practice. Professional interest in traditional herbal medicine is also expanding
and clinical research is a significant part of providing validation for
traditional usage of plants. Thru its networking abilities, the Pikes
Peak Herb Assn. presents reliable information to the public to help emphasize informed decision making while working cooperatively with
orthodox and holistic disciplines. The PPHA's membership is made up of
various individuals and businesses interested in and involved in some phase of
herbalism. By becoming a member you will assist in the
continuance of educational services to yourself and the public. As the
group grows, so will the usage and knowledge of herbs. If you are ever in God's country, give a call, perhaps we can have a cup
of peppermint tea while we gaze at the mountains in wonderment of our great life.
