Herbal Apprenticeship with Gail Edwards ... Appropriate for Beginner and Intermediate level herb students.  Instructor, Gail Edwards, is a practicing herbalist with thirty years experience in serving her rural Maine community.  Classes are held at Blessed Maine Herb Farm, Athens, Maine. The following choices are available:  One class meets on Sundays approximately every other week from April through October, 11AM - 4PM, for a total of 13 sessions. Dates are April 28, Saturday May 11, 26, June 9, 16, 30, July 14, 28, August 11, 25, September 8, October 6, 20.  Class fee is $750.   
A second option for 2002 is a series of four weekends, one per month, from May through August. Weekend begins Friday evening and ends Sunday afternoon. Primitive camping and vegetarian meals are included. Class dates are May 24-26, June 28-30, July 19-21, and August 30-September 1. Class fee is $750.  
A third option is being made available for those students who cannot commit to a lengthy study period. Plan an herbal-study vacation. Camp out on our herb farm, work with Gail and the apprentices as much, or as little, as you like, participate in on-going herbal study sessions, spend time in our healing gardens, go on wildgathering adventures, eat garden-fresh herbs and vegetables, swim in the nearby swimming hole, and relax your body, mind and spirit on an exquisite hilltop in rural Maine, surrounded by sky, trees, fields and mountains, immersed in the beauty of the natural world.  $300 per week.  May through August.

Cedar Spring Herb Farm ... Garden of Health: A Seven Month Program beginning in March 2004.  A unique blend of practical gardening and medicinal herbalism is offered through our seven month program. Our Cape Cod environment lends itself to exploring plants from many different "communities".  Walk with us through Cape Cod's marshes, meadows, woods and dunes.  Intensive organic gardening skills will also be covered.
