QUESTION
: I have bronchial asthma from a kitchen fire.  Lungs ok, bronchial tubes not.  I have tried most herbs to no avail-still on inhaler and when it gets real bad steroids, want to get off of them ....they are not good for me.  Any suggestions ? You may know something I do not.......

ANSWER: My first thought is that you employ a dehumidifier, and add to the water 30 drops Tea tree oil and 20 drops essential oil of Eucalyptus.  Your diet is very important. Avoid all dairy products, white flour products and white sugar. These 3 are mucus-forming.  Moderate your intake of caffeine. Avoid also red meats and all fried foods.

Here a simple remedy from Switzerland: Dilute 1 drops of essential oil of Eucalyptus into a shot of good brandy, then add to one cup of hot water to which you have added some honey and lemon. Here's another: In a cup of rice white, add one tablespoon of grated Ginger and leave to stand for 3 days or longer, blend into a glassful of honey, dilute one tablespoon in a glass of water and drink one cup per day.

There are also several traditional Chinese formulas that may be of great help, such as: Qing Qi Hua Tan Wan and several others.
