QUESTION:  I need a recommendation for the best herb book with colored pictures for my 10 year old son.  It is his reward for winning a botany competition.  This does not have to be a children's book, but something he can keep as a reference for many years.

ANSWER: That is a tall order, but the first of these 3 suggested books is what I would encourage you to get (I have owned one for years). Its by A.
