ANSWERS FROM CARLOS:
QUESTION: I have been reading your question and answers section on the website and I think what you are doing is absolutely brilliant. Keep up the good work.

I'm a fifty year old woman and I have a number of health issues for which I would like your help. I was diagnosed with mycosis fungoides about 10 years ago and I have been taking a number of things for it, namely CO-Q-10, grape seed, and other antioxidents(herbal). I had a hysterectomy about 6 years ago and I now take angus cactus and dong quai for that. I found out I’m hypertensive and I take Losartan HT (losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide). I also have arthritis and for a while I used Chondroitin and Glucosamine but I stopped. Apart from these, I take omega oils and calcium. Just for the record, my dad and uncle both died from cancer and my sister and uncle are diabetic. I also have an aunt who had
breast cancer. I would like to know what I can use to manage my issues without taking a whole bunch of things as I’m currently doing. I live in Kenya so product names will not really help me, I would need to know the actual herbs or plants and quantities.  I hope you will answer my mail as it would be a big help to me.

ANSWER: The first thing I would suggest is that you do a 48 hour detox. Drinking only teas of Dandelion root. Sweeten with a bit of honey and drink 4-5xs for 48 hours. If hunger overtakes you, you may eat yogurt, drink broth or eat unsalted crackers.  After this time you should avoid foods that stagnate the system, such as:  Red meats, white sugar, pork, all dairy and all fried foods.  Drink coffee and alcohol in moderation.

Now you can begin to supplement and tonify the auto immune system by adding 2 or 3 pieces of Astragalus root to all your broths, soups and stews.  This works better and faster in extract or tincture. If you can find it, then just add 20 drops to your foods. Drink Green tea 2xs daily, adding 15 drops of the extract of Astragalus to it. Or take a root Astragalus in a small amount of water (enough for 2 cups) bring to a boil, turn down and simmer for 10 minutes, add your Green tea and simmer on low for a couple of minutes. You may also want to add Chinese white ginseng to your diet and well as Wolfberry. These will help with the immune. Increase the amount of exposure to sunlight in your environment. There are indications that organic honey applied to the red skin may help. There are other herbs that may help if applied topically in ointment such as Periwinkle.  Other herbs you may want to research are Oldenlandia and Scutellaria.  To balance your hormones you may want to consider adding False Unicorn to
your Don Quai and Agnus Castus.
